Privacy Policy
Thank you for visiting the FAVR website (the “Website”).
This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) informs users of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information we receive from users of our Website. We use various technologies to collect information about user activities on our website. These can include the use of cookies and trackers as defined herein. We use the information to better understand usage of the Website and to collect traffic statistics. We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and security of user information. By using the Website, you as the user agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Log Data: Like many website operators, we automatically collect information that a user’s browser or device sends whenever a user visits our Website (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include, but is not limited to, information such as computer Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device ID, browser type and language, the pages of our website that user visits, access times, the content of any undeleted cookies that user’s browser previously accepted from us (see “Cookies”), and the referring Website address.
Cookies: When a user visits our Website, we may assign a device one or more cookies to facilitate access to our Website. Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. No personally identifiable information is contained in these cookies. Cookies are sent to the browser from a web site and stored on the user’s computer hard drive. Users can instruct the browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if a user does not accept cookies, the user may not be able to use some portions of our Website. Our Analytics software (Google Analytics) uses cookies to measure and better understand user-interactions on our Website.
Google Analytics: We use a third-party JavaScript plug-in provided by Google called “Google Analytics” to provide us with useful traffic statistics and to better understand how users utilize our Website. We do not have direct access to the information obtained from Google Analytics, but Google provides us with a summary through its dashboard. We may share the information obtained from Google Analytics with business partners who are interested in advertising on our Website. The information shared with these business partners will not contain any personally identifying information (Google does not provide us with direct access to the data and therefore we cannot see this information). You can opt-out of having user information collected by Google Analytics by downloading the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on provided by Google. This will prevent user information being used by Google Analytics. Doing this will not affect the user’s ability to use our Website in any way.
Other Technologies: We may use standard internet technology, such as web beacons, pixel tags, local storage, demographic tracking in analytics, and other technologies that facilitate personalization to track a user’s use of our Website. We also may use these technologies in advertisements or email messages to determine whether messages have been opened and acted upon. The information we obtain in this manner enables us to customize the websites and services we offer to our users in order to deliver targeted advertisements and to measure the overall effectiveness of our online advertising, content, programming, or other activities.
Personal Information: This Privacy Policy sets forth what we do with the information we gather as a result of a user’s use of the Website. We may share information with third parties with whom FAVR has a business relationship. This includes XYZ’s affiliates, subsidiaries, and business partners as well as third-party service providers that assist in providing the websites and services. FAVR never shares or sells information with non-affiliated third parties. FAVR may share non-identifying information with any third parties so long as the information is not personal in nature and cannot be used to identify, either directly or indirectly, any particular individual user.
Aggregated and/or Non-Personal Information: We may share non-personal information we collect under any of the above circumstances. We may also share it with affiliates, subsidiaries, and third parties to develop and deliver targeted advertising on our websites and services and on websites or applications of third parties, and to analyze and report on advertising users see. We may combine non-personal information we collect with additional non-personal information collected from other sources. We also may share aggregated, non-personal information, or personal information in hashed, non-human readable form, with third parties, including advisors, writers, researchers, partners, advertisers, and investors for the purpose of conducting general business analysis, advertising, marketing, or other business purposes. The cookies may reflect de-identified demographic or other data linked to data that users have voluntarily submitted to us (such as an email address) that we may share with a data provider solely in hashed, non-human readable form. We may also share user geolocation information in de-identified form with affiliates, subsidiaries, and third parties for the above purposes.
Changes to this Privacy Policy: We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on the Website. Users are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
